Despite of few nerviuous mistake in the beginning they started to push some men foward not forgetting protection of their slender lead which they took a fortnight ago, they forced at list one save by Ahly keeper. In the second half Alhy came out being a rejuvenated team they forced Stars to make some defending errors one of them resulted into a corner which was convected in to a goal after first attempt had been saved by the bar while Sandiland already on the canvas when the opening goal was scored. Few minutes later the Angolian international Flavio Ensured that Egyptians advanced to the mini league when he headed it into the net. After that it was a show boating from the Cairo based side. Solomon Mathe and Edward William for Stars played well. CONVERSATION WITH RISINGSTARS CAPTAIN Risingstars fc captain Fani Zulu is so dissapointed with their defeat against Citizen last week in the game that was played at boiling and humid Mjiza sport ground. Click the above picture to hear him speaking on Nongoma fm 10/05/08 -08.26 ANOTHER DEFEAT Risingstars suffered their first defeat of the season in an open play when they went down against Umjiza outfit Citizen by 2-1 at KwaMjiza sport ground last Sunday. Rising stars failed to protect their slender lead they took through the boot of their captain Fani 'Funny young cannibal' Zulu who scored few minutes after kickoff .We didn't manage to get Citizen's goal scorers. Half time score was 1-1. Rising stars are not playing this weekend. Their next fixture will be announced soon. Today he says think about the poor .Tomorrow, this week's short story will be published .Stay right where you are. 05/05/08 -17.00 RISING STARS CRYING FOR SPONSORSHIP There are rumours that Rising stars are holding talks with one of sport shops based in Durban city centre for technical sponsorship deal. It is not easy as the shop needs proof that they do exist and Risingstars are not certain when an agreement may be reached. Risingstars spokesman denied that. He said they made an application for sponsorship waitng for result no talks held yet. 05/05/08 -17.00 27/04/08 17.07 RISING STARS- CITIZEN CLASH ABORTED The game between Rising stars and Mjiza citizen was called off after the the ball that was being used had been taken by other team which had landed it to the two . That happened after the initially used Citiezen's ball had got an unfixable punch so as the host team they were compelled to borrow from the other team which they had defeated earlier .'We don't know whether their hearts were still painful after that big drubbing we gave them now they took their ball as the pay back .'Said Citizen captain . 21/04/08 10-17.10 OH WHAT ABLOW The Brazilian South African national soccer team Peraira has quirt his job. He left this job at crucial time where everybodie's eyes are on the 2010 world cup expecting South Africa to reach at list semifinals if not winning it. Now we are all in the dilemma of who is giong to be a suitable replacement. Everyone seem to sing one 's personal song about his successor. There is strong view that he should be coming from Brazil as South African style of play is considered to be similar to that of Brazil. Others want a former Chelsea coach Jose Murino to replace him. It look like we won't hear very soon about the next gaffer untill the end of Euro 2008. Where SAFA may have chance to hold talks with other Brazillian Scholari whom they were looking for even prior Perairra's appointment who is currently coaching the well performing Portugal. Though he will be out of contract by then , I don't see him taking South African coaching job unless Portugal perform dismally in the Euro. NONGOMA FM LIVE PICTURES TONIGHT 15.57 -14/04/08 THE STARS ARE RISING Majomela Rising stars walloped Sundowns by 2-0 in the game played at Y center ,in a newly started football association last week. Goal scorers were captain' Fani young cannibal's young brother Thobani and Veli. These were good news for Risingstars who had beenrecently knocked out on penalties by Mampiyampiya in R1000 stake. 15.55 -14/04/08 'THE NEW ASSOCIATION LOOKS HEADLESS' The newly incepted football association for Nongoma - Majomela region looks headless and being a waste of time that was the view of some Rising stars fc players who claimed that It had no organised structures including manegemant, rule and other features . Fixtures are only announced two days before kickoff which is totally unacceptable. One player who didn't want his name to be mentioned he said they would withdraw from that league if things were not improved. 06/04/08- 19.36 RISINGSTARS CRASHED Rising starsfc opened their season campaign on a bad note when they went down 3-2 against the Mahhashini based team Mampiyampiya in a game that was decided on penalties following a 90 minutes nil-nil draw. Captain Fanni young canibal Zulu In other games the last years Blue jersy winners Brazil defeated junior city by an odd goal to advance to the semifinals. Sundowns won on penalties against Zulu power. The stake will be completed tomorrow. 05/04/08 16.36 MATCH POSTPONED Risingstars will have to wait before testing their new signings following postponement of their first match of the season against Sundowns who are said to have opted to organise a stake instead. That R800 stake will be played tomorrow. Everybody who read this site will remember that Sundowns failed to show up for friendly which had been organized by Rising stars fc.two weeks ago. 31/10/08 16.51 SURPRISES Have you ever thought of an African country beating European country at its own backyard? That what happened last week when the Lions of Atlas Morocco walloped Belgium 4 -0 in Belgium. Something we have never thought of before. In other matches South Africa easily washed away their South Americans opponents Paraguay who are highly rated these days. When one is looking at the fifa rankings one start to imagine. Are these rankings well justified? but then one remembers that football has a spherical shape that's why it rolls where ever it wants. There were many other surprises in diffrent countries. In Spain, Bacerlona were taken by surprise when they were difeated 3-2 by Realbetis despite of leading by 2-0 at some point in the game. That alone is a surprise especially to Barcelona who really needed points as they were still in the title battle against their rivals Real Madrid who are currently topping the Laliga. In Nigeria the current diffending champions Enyimba were held by the current leaders Kano pillars 2-2 something I had never thought it would happen. I used to think Enyimba were the all time Nigerian champions. Though I was not expecting Egypt to beat Argentina but I was also not expecting them to be easily beaten by 2-0 in Cairo. That brings back couple of questions: When African team will beat the best in the world? In Zimbabwe all games were suspended to allow voters to cast their ballots without thinking about football [ I also think.] In South Africa a Durban based first division side Nathi lions will be singing all the way home from Johanesburg after they had eleminated their premiership opponents Jomo cosmos by 5-3 in the Nedbank cup last 16 that ended on penalties. GAME CANCELLED A match between Sundowns and Risingstars has been cancelled following absence of Sudowns players.Talking with Breaking news Risingstars defender Senzo 'Schirachi' said he was disappointed by Sundowns unprofessional conduct of failling to dawn the match they had promised to play. Khumalo who also added that they have never won a goat/ any domestic animal as a trophy so this year they will attempt to do that.
